Description

Completely balanced, extruded crumble diet specifically designed to meets the dietary needs of pet and breeding finches and budgies. Fortified with vitamins, minerals and calcium for egg formation, strong development of young and general ongoing health.

Birds require extra nutrition to enable them to lay and rear healthy chicks. Finch and Budgie Crumbles contain extra protein, vitamins and minerals to support reproduction, and is a total feed for Finches and Budgies.

Recommended for: Finches, Canaries and Budgerigars.

Also suitable for: Can be used as a part diet for omnivorous or insectivorous birds.

Ingredients

Maize, soybean, wheat, lysine, methionine, salt, vegetable oils and natural organic acids. Vitamins: A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, C, D3, E, H & K. Minerals: calcium, cobalt, copper, iodine, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, sodium, sulphur and zinc.

Feeding Instructions

Feeding: Finch and Budgie Crumbles are a complete diet, no additional dietary supplementation is necessary. Vegetables or treats may be given as behavioural enrichment. Can be mixed with Insecta-pro for Omnivorous or Insectivorous birds.

Conversion: To improve initial acceptance, moisten the crumble with warm water and mix in dry seed in a ratio of about 50:50. Feed this mix for a few days and then reduce the seed proportion to about 25%. Feed this mix for a further few days and then only use a sprinkle of seed in the mix. During the conversion process observe the birds closely to ensure all birds are taking adequate nutrition.

Budgies typically take longer to convert than most other birds.
